The Office of Global Health and Safety (OGHS) is the primary resource for participation agreements for undergraduate experiential programming. 

To request a participation agreement or consultation from OGHS, submit a Participation Agreement Intake Form. A staff member will reach out within 2-3 business days of the request to schedule a meeting. OGHS will collaborate with Duke’s Office of Legal Counsel and Corporate Risk Management to finalize the agreement.

We will then help develop an implementation process to distribute agreements in advance of the experience. The process ensures that all participants have a full understanding of the risks and requirements associated with the experience in a timely manner.
