Academic Enrichment Travel at Duke

Duke University supports students on every aspect of their academic journey – including academic enrichment travel. The Office of Global Health and Safety (OGHS) assists faculty and staff with the planning and organization of a travel away from Duke’s campus.

What is academic enrichment travel?

Academic enrichment travel consists of a trip to a domestic or international location away from Duke’s Durham campus during the academic year. This travel lasts between 1-10 days. Academic enrichment travel is designed to supplement and enhance Duke students’ comprehensive experiential education curriculum. Planning for an academic enrichment travel trip can take up to 12 months. Learn more.
