Academic Enrichment Travel at Duke
Duke University supports students on every aspect of their academic journey – including academic enrichment travel. The Office of Global Health and Safety (OGHS) assists faculty and staff with the planning and organization of a travel away from Duke’s campus.
What is academic enrichment travel?
Academic enrichment travel consists of a trip to a domestic or international location away from Duke’s Durham campus during the academic year. This travel lasts anywhere from 1-2 days to several weeks. Academic enrichment travel is designed to supplement and enhance Duke students’ comprehensive experiential education curriculum. Planning for an academic enrichment travel trip can take up to 12 months.
